Prison Outreach
Within Canadian correctional facilities, the CLDA offers support by sharing Scripture, teaching about the hope in the Gospel, and emphasizing the importance of Sabbath observance.

Since 1996, the Lord has opened a remarkable door of ministry within Canada's correctional institutions. What began with inmates requesting our Daily Diary has grown into a full outreach of literature, correspondence courses, and face-to-face Bible instruction, reaching souls the wider world often forgets. The seed of faith and regeneration sown behind bars continues to bear fruit not only for eternity but also for the healing of lives and communities.
The Christian Sabbath is central to our Prison Diaries and Bible Studies.
The diaries aim to emphasize the Lord's Day by including suitable Bible passages. Along with Sunday Bible studies, they offer a purposeful and meaningful way to honour and keep the Sabbath Day sacred.
When volunteers meet with inmates on the first day of the week, they exemplify the core purpose of the CLDA: that God has consecrated this day, and regardless of our location, we are called to honour it.
Although many Canadians appear uninterested in studying God's Word and His Day, it's very encouraging to have this opportunity to assist our fellow citizens.
Daily Diaries

Bible Correspondence Courses
Pastor developed studies mailed to inmates. Each participant is paired with a mentor who evaluates their work and corresponds with them personally.
3 Course Levels
Weekly Bible Studies
Vetted and trained volunteers visit institutions weekly to provide in-person instruction on salvation through Jesus Christ. These Bible studies also emphasize the importance of observing the Lord's Day.
